Triptych of 3 11”x14” canvases in acrylic There is beauty in desiccation and decay, in the in-betweens, in the stillness. Even in the giving up. But there’s an even greater one in realizing that maybe it’s not that you necessarily don’t want to live anymore, it’s that you don’t want to live in HERE. Then, that you don’t want to die in HERE either. You may have to let go of what you’ve been holding onto, find yourself a new shining thing full of life. It just takes a long time. And it’s never linear. You’ll loop back and start over and fall down again and again and again and again before it’s done. And that can be beautiful too.
